Equus (Kůň) je divadelní hra od Petra Shaffera. V této hře má hlavní roli Daniel Radcliffe alias Alan Strang, v níž jako mladý, do koní zamilovaný muž vystupuje v rouše Adamově. Právě teď se tedy připravuje na roli Alana Stranga, který oslepil šesť koní, kvůli čemu ho ošetřuje psychiatr.
Danielova nahota vzbudila v Británii vlnu rodičovského znepokojení. Rodiče se obávají špatného vlivu nahého 17 letého Daniela Radcliffa na své děti. Zveřejněné promo fotografie (dole - slouží jen jako reklamní kampaň pro hru) ukazují dobře trénovaného, pro dámy atraktivního Harryho Pottera, který už vlastně neni Potterem. Největším problémem je právě tento divadelní debut, protože mladý herec se spolu s hereckou partnerkou Joannou Christieovou objeví v dlouhé erotické scéně nazí. Symbol nevinnosti a erotického harašení zřejmě nejde britům dohromady.
Režisérka ani producent se neobávají, že bude Daniel lákat návštěvníky divadla jen na svou fyzickou krásu. Je prý vynikající herec a výkonem překvapí všechny kritiky. "Po hereckém výkonu, jemuž jsem byl svědkem, když si sundá tričko, Harry Potter odletí na koštěti do neznáma,“ nadšeně uvedl producent David Pugh.
Premiéru bude mít tato hra v úterý 27. února v londýnském divadle Gielgud Theatre.
